Getting the most from SkyDrive with cloud storage on your WP7 Phone

The problem with some Windows Phones is the lack of storage onboard, the good thing is we do have an option and its called “Skydrive” and its cloud storage, and it comes with your WP7 device integrated neatly along side Microsoft products and pictures.

How to upload pictures?

  1. 1 Find the picture you want to upload
  2. Options
  3. Share
  4. Skydrive
  5. Name Picture
  6. Upload

The Windows Live ID you have will be where the pictures are stored on the skydrive servers, documents are done the same way, but thats not all Microsoft have released a sperate app for you to browse all pictures, documents etc…

New users of Windows Live ID are given 7GB of storage which is more than enough and more than the offerings of the likes of DropBox which is 2.5GB

If you are an exting windows live user you get 25GB free! Microsoft do have bigger storage option but there is a cost, 7GB for the average user is more than enough of pictures and documents!

What do you think of Skydrive leave a comment below?
